Dallas Stars Chicago Sport reviews
Bruins Win!
Excellent night at AA Center in Dallas as the Bruins were in town to face off against the Stars. Seats were great, six rows from the glass where the action is in your face. Close enough to see your favorite players fly bye right in front of you. Pricing for seats was reasonable considering how close you are to the ice. If you've never experienced a live NHL game, then you're missing out on a fantastic night out. Great place to bring a date even if you're not a hockey fan. With the lights, music, and food and drinks available, you can't go wrong. Would highly recommend a visit to a real sport that is fast paced, exciting and a whole lot of fun.
Stars need an announcer
This was our first Stars game. We went to see my home team the Blue Jackets. Parking was good: as expensive as expected but close. The food was surprisingly-priced: $4 for a large soda isn't bad for an arena. The game was very low-energy. There wasn't an announcer giving play by plays during the breaks. For someone who doesn't follow hockey regularly, it would have been nice to know what was going on. Crowd was pretty sedated, but it was a Tuesday night. Oh, and they LOST! :-D Anyway, we will be back but not for the arena: for the Blue Jackets.
Excellent game, but...........................
We had a great time, with my son. He is (4). He has been to Youth Jersey Game every year of his life.
Look forward to many years of memories.
However, I have noticed, only at AAC, a very dis-heartening thing. When the visiting team happens to score, they anounce the player and time of goal. At that time many Stars "fans" feel the need to yell out "WHO CARES?". Not only does this show poor sportsmanship to the visiting team, it is very disrespectful to the Stars players. I am quite sure they care, that they were just scored upon. I know I do, and I am just watching, not playing. We have noticed, watching other games, that when the Stars are the visitors, we don't hear that in other arena's when the stars score. C'MON DALLAS, A LITTLE CLASS. It's not a Cowboy game.
perfect
we got to the game later than normal so we missed warm ups and i was kinda bummed but jamie benns goal in the first period made me forget all about it, the energy in the aac is always crazy however you could still hear the guys yelling directions on the ice which was cool. i always have a blast watching the stars but the live raw version is so so much better than anything on tv i would 100% a stars game to anyone even if you dont like sports hockey and the stars will change your mind atleast it did for me
Lonnie Reviews Hockey Games
The Dallas Stars staff was very helpful, and I appreciated their help. I attended the Boston Bruins at the Dallas Stars NHL ice hockey game at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX on Tuesday, FEB 14th. The Boston Bruins have been my favorite NHL ice hockey team since 1969, but I like the Dallas Stars, too. I am glad there is NHL ice hockey in Dallas. The Boston Bruins won the game by scoring the game winning goal with 1:42 left in the sudden death overtime period. I give credit to the Dallas Stars for playing a good, hard-fought game. I enjoyed the game and was glad I was able to attend it. (I live in Moore, Oklahoma and had to drive to the game.)
